Penn State Hazleton, a commonwealth campus of Pennsylvania State University, is situated in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, approximately 45 miles southwest of the major city of Scranton. Founded in 1934, this undergraduate institution prides itself on providing a variety of associate and baccalaureate degree programs with popular majors that include business, engineering, and the liberal arts.
