Brevard College is a private liberal arts institution nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Brevard, North Carolina, approximately 33 miles southwest of Asheville. Founded in 1853, the college boasts a picturesque campus known for its natural beauty and proximity to various outdoor activities, fitting for its environmental science program's prominence. The campus features a mix of modern and historical architecture with facilities that support a residential experience, offering on-campus housing for students. Brevard College operates on a semester-based academic calendar and maintains a broad array of undergraduate majors, with education, business, and biology being among the student body's common choices. The institution is recognized for a modestly selective admissions process.
