Aquinas College, founded in 1886, is a Catholic liberal arts college situated on a 117-acre wooded campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan, approximately 30 miles east of Lake Michigan. Known for its commitment to the Dominican tradition, the college offers a variety of undergraduate degrees, with notable programs in the sciences, business, and education. Aquinas College is distinctive for its LEED-certified constructions and a campus featuring a blend of traditional, gothic architecture and modern facilities. Residential options are available to students with on-campus living encouraged to enhance the educational experience. The college has a reputation for being moderately selective in its admissions process. While not predominantly recognized for athletics, Aquinas is an active member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in various sports, with their teams known as the Saints.
