Overview

Illinois Central College (ICC) is a public community college located in East Peoria, Illinois, offering a myriad of educational programs geared toward associate degrees, certificates, and transfer partnerships with four-year institutions. Established in 1966, the college serves the academic and vocational needs of its students through its central campus in East Peoria, with additional facilities positioned within the region to accommodate a broad demographic. The setting is a blend of suburban and rural, providing a quiet, focused atmosphere an approximate 15 minutes drive from the metropolitan area of Peoria. While Illinois Central College has an open admissions policy, it maintains a selective process for specific programs, especially those pertaining to healthcare and technology, which are among its most sought-after offerings. On-campus housing is not provided by Illinois Central College, thereby directing student accommodations toward the private market in the surrounding community areas. Illinois Central College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,097 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 4,947 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $9,900 plus fees of $0.
