Kennesaw State University (KSU), situated in Kennesaw, Georgia, boasts two primary campuses nestled in the scenic foothills of the Appalachian Mountains just over 20 miles northwest of Atlanta. Established in 1963, KSU has evolved into one of the 50 largest public institutions in the United States. The university features a suburban setting that provides students with a balance of green spaces and modern facilities amidst a growing metropolitan area. Academically, KSU is inclusive with moderately selective admissions, offering over 150 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees spanning business, education, engineering, and health sciences, with business, nursing, and psychology among the popular majors. On-campus housing is available, accommodating a significant portion of the student population, coupled with a variety of dining and recreational amenities. While not predominantly known for athletics, Kennesaw State's athletic teams, known as the Owls, compete in the NCAA Division I ASUN Conference.
