Overview

Delaware Technical Community College-Owens, located in Georgetown, Delaware, is a public institution established in 1967 that primarily serves the southern region of the state. Situated on a suburban campus in close proximity to the recreational opportunities of Delaware's beaches and roughly 16 miles from the Maryland border, this campus offers a range of associate degree programs, diploma, and certificate programs, with notable emphasis on health sciences, business, and skilled trades. Application to the school is generally non-competitive, focusing on open-access education for its diverse student body.
