Overview

Chesapeake College, located in Wye Mills, Maryland, is a public two-year college established in 1965. Positioned on the Eastern Shore, roughly an hour's drive from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C., the institution prides itself on a scenic campus known for its modern facilities blended with elements of traditional collegiate architecture. Chesapeake College serves a primarily commuter student body, offering a range of associate degrees, certificates, and continuing education programs. Academically, the college is noted for its health professions programs, including nursing, as well as offerings in business, criminal justice, and environmental studies. Chesapeake College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  425 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,369 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,376 plus fees of $968.
