Northland College, situated in Ashland, Wisconsin, is a private liberal arts college that emphasizes environment and sustainability in its curriculum. Established in 1892, this small college hosts a campus in a rural setting, close to the shores of Lake Superior and roughly 70 miles east of Duluth, Minnesota. Known for its innovative approach towards interdisciplinary and experiential education, Northland offers a variety of majors with an emphasis on environmental studies, natural resources, and outdoor education.
