you will be challenged to compete at every level. You will be exposed to a wide diversity of cultures, beliefs and views of our place in the world. The challenges of school are offset, and sometimes enhanced, by being in an environment where "work hard, play hard" is the mantra. Austin is an ideal college town. One final thing: OU still sucks!

It is a large state university with all of the bells, whistles, resources and diversions, within the beauty of a thriving, hospitable southern city. The University has made enormous strides in creating smaller groups of students together for better learning, a more "familiar" feel, and faster freshman acclimation in light of its potentially overwhelming bigness. Texas Exes provides career counseling, networking and social opportunities for alumni post-graduation.... find your group, your passion, your niche and get your horns up!
