Kilgore College is a public community college located in Kilgore, Texas, within close proximity to the larger city of Longview and less than two hours? drive from Dallas. Established in 1935, the college offers a variety of academic programs with notable emphasis on associate degrees and certificates in fields such as the performing arts, health sciences, and industrial technologies. The architecture of the campus is traditional, with facilities structured to support its diverse academic pursuits. While Kilgore College maintains an open admissions policy, certain programs may have more competitive entry requirements. On-campus housing is available to accommodate students wishing to live within the college environment. Kilgore College also engages in a range of athletic programs, and its teams, known as the Rangers and Rangerettes, have gained recognition particularly in football and drill team performances.

Kilgore College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,020 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,100 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2021/2022, excluding room and board, is $3,168 plus fees of $888.
