Spartanburg Methodist College

Overview

Spartanburg Methodist College is a private, two-year residential college located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Established in 1911, it provides a liberal arts education focused on associate degrees and offers a bridge program for students to transition to four-year institutions. The campus is situated in a suburban setting, minutes away from downtown Spartanburg, and is characterized by its cohesive architectural design, which features modern and traditional elements. Housing is provided on campus, with a range of living options for students. The college has an inclusive admissions policy. Among its academic offerings, Spartanburg Methodist College is known for programs in business, criminal justice, and humanities.
