Overview

The Community College of Rhode Island, located in Warwick, Rhode Island, stands as the state's largest public, two-year college, offering a broad curriculum in arts, science, and vocational fields. Founded in 1964, the college operates multiple campuses with the Warwick site serving as the main campus, nestled in a suburban setting within close proximity to Providence, enhancing the cultural and economic opportunities available to students. Community College of Rhode Island has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  4,964 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 7,299 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,624 plus fees of $466.
