Multnomah University

Overview

Multnomah University, located in Portland, Oregon, is a private, Christian university established in 1936. It offers a distinctly biblical-based education with programs ranging from undergraduate to doctoral levels. Set in a suburban environment, the campus is characterized by its Pacific Northwest architecture and provides residential facilities for students who opt to live on campus. Academic pursuits at Multnomah are rooted in a strong theological framework, with popular majors including Theology, Biblical Studies, and Business. While the university maintains a selective admissions process, it is dedicated to a holistic review of applicants. Multnomah does not have a notable presence in intercollegiate athletics.

In the most recent statistical year 474 prospective students applied, and 253 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 90 enrolled in the school.  460 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 148 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $28,160 plus fees of $650.
