Overview

Ohio University-Lancaster Campus, situated in the small city of Lancaster, Ohio, offers a personalized collegiate experience as a regional campus of Ohio University. Just under an hour's drive southeast of Columbus, this branch encourages a diverse academic atmosphere through associate, bachelor's, and continued education programs, with notable focus on business management technology, early childhood education, and nursing. The campus does not offer on-campus housing, instead serving commuter students in a setting characterized by its modern facilities amid natural landscapes. Established in 1956, the Lancaster Campus caters to a range of academic pursuits with an open admissions policy, thereby exhibiting a generally inclusive selectivity. While the campus itself is not renowned for athletics, it maintains the broader university's affiliation with NCAA Division I sports as a satellite location, without a distinct athletic program separate from the main campus in Athens.

Ohio University Lancaster Campus has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  479 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,515 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $6,004 plus fees of $0.
