Overview

Kent State University at East Liverpool, located on the banks of the Ohio River, is a regional campus of Kent State University and primarily serves the east-central Ohio region. Established in 1965, the campus extends Kent State's presence in the Ohio Valley, offering students a quiet, intimate setting for their studies, approximately 40 miles from the major metropolitan area of Pittsburgh. The campus is recognized for its offerings in nursing and radiologic technology, among other associate and bachelor?s degree programs. Admission is known to be less selective, providing greater access to higher education within the local community. While the campus does not have its own on-campus housing, it maintains a connection with the nearby community where students can find accommodation. Kent State East Liverpool does not highlight athletics as a central part of its campus identity.

Kent State University at East Liverpool has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  20 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,004 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $6,962 plus fees of $96.
