Kent State University at East Liverpool, located on the banks of the Ohio River, is a regional campus of Kent State University and primarily serves the east-central Ohio region. Established in 1965, the campus extends Kent State's presence in the Ohio Valley, offering students a quiet, intimate setting for their studies, approximately 40 miles from the major metropolitan area of Pittsburgh. The campus is recognized for its offerings in nursing and radiologic technology, among other associate and bachelor?s degree programs. Admission is known to be less selective, providing greater access to higher education within the local community.
