Overview

Shepherds Theological Seminary, located in Cary, North Carolina, is an evangelical seminary that is committed to theologically conservative Christian education. Established in 2003, the seminary offers both undergraduate and graduate programs with a clear emphasis on Bible and Theology. Shepherds Theological Seminary operates principally as an institution for religious and pastoral training, with popular majors including but not limited to Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, and Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Theology. The campus setting is suburban, situated within the Research Triangle area and providing easy access to the amenities and professional opportunities of nearby Raleigh. Although Shepherds Theological Seminary maintains a selective admissions process, it does not provide on-campus student housing. The seminary stands apart for its commitment to biblical authority, with no specific focus on intercollegiate athletics.

Shepherds Theological Seminary has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  64 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 97 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $6,840 plus fees of $330.
