Salem College, chartered in 1772 and located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, stands as the oldest educational institution for women in the United States by its original founding date. Nestled in the historic district of its namesake city, the campus features a picturesque landscape accentuated by Moravian architectural styles, providing a blend of historic charm and contemporary educational facilities. As a liberal arts college, Salem offers a wide array of undergraduate programs with particularly notable offerings in education and music, as well as graduate degrees in education and school counseling.
