Louisburg College, established in 1787 and situated in Louisburg, North Carolina, holds the distinction of being the oldest two-year coeducational institution in the United States. Located approximately 30 miles northeast of the state's capital, Raleigh, this private Methodist-affiliated college spans a quaint, historical campus characterized by traditional architecture, providing a sense of collegiate heritage.
