Houghton College, a private liberal arts institution affiliated with the Wesleyan Church, is nestled within the scenic Allegheny region of western New York, roughly 70 miles from Buffalo. Established in 1883, the college offers a rural setting across a 1,300-acre campus characterized by its historic, ivy-clad buildings that blend Victorian architecture with modern facilities.
