Luna Community College is a public institution located in Las Vegas, New Mexico, approximately 65 miles east of Santa Fe. Founded in 1969, the college offers a range of academic and vocational programs, including popular majors in Nursing, Business Administration, and Education. The campus is noted for its rural setting and the informal, southwestern architectural style that characterizes its buildings. While offering a variety of certificate programs and two-year degrees, Luna Community College maintains an open admissions policy, generally accepting all applicants that meet basic requirements. Luna Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student. 252 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 522 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,488 plus fees of $50.
