Overview

Established in 1934, Eastern New Mexico University-Main Campus is a public institution located in Portales, New Mexico, a small town setting approximately 90 miles from Lubbock, Texas. The university offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on areas such as business, education, and fine arts. The campus architecture features a mix of modern and Spanish Renaissance styled buildings, providing a distinctive backdrop to the academic and extracurricular endeavors. In the most recent statistical year 1,713 prospective students applied, and 472 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 436 enrolled in the school.  2,434 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,672 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,194 plus fees of $2,669.
