Union College

Overview

Union College is a private Seventh-day Adventist institution located in Lincoln, Nebraska, founded in 1891. The college's suburban campus spans 50 acres and features a blend of modern and historical architecture, including the iconic Clock Tower that has stood as a campus landmark for decades. Union College offers a range of undergraduate programs with particular strengths in health sciences, specifically the nursing program which is highly regarded. The academic atmosphere is characterized by a liberal arts focus with an emphasis on service and leadership within a Christian context. The college has an open admissions policy, allowing for a broader range of applicants. On-campus living is available to students with several residence halls fostering a close-knit residential community. Union College, while not known primarily for its athletic teams, participates in a variety of sports at the varsity level.

In the most recent statistical year 940 prospective students applied, and 929 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 91 enrolled in the school.  546 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 148 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $25,920 plus fees of $1,250.
