Overview

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA), located in Curtis, Nebraska, is a two-year institution specializing in agricultural and veterinary technology programs. Established in 1965, NCTA offers an immersive educational experience on a rural campus that is roughly three hours from the nearest major city, Omaha. The campus complements its agricultural focus with facilities designed for hands-on learning in a range of fields, including agribusiness and agronomy, among others. With a mission tailored toward developing skilled professionals in technical agricultural careers, NCTA boasts a robust offering of associate degrees and certificates with popular majors including Veterinary Technology and Agriculture Production Systems. Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  236 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 67 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,726 plus fees of $876.
