Overview

The University of Providence, formerly known as the University of Great Falls, is a private Catholic university located in Great Falls, Montana. Established in 1932 by the Sisters of Providence and the Ursuline Sisters, the university sits in the heart of Big Sky Country, approximately 90 miles south of the Canadian border. University of Great Falls has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  602 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 353 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $27,256 plus fees of $350.
