Blackfeet Community College

Overview

Blackfeet Community College (BCC), located in Browning, Montana, is a two-year institution established in 1974 to serve the educational needs of the Blackfeet Reservation and the surrounding communities. With its scenic campus set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and proximate to Glacier National Park, BCC offers a culturally enriched atmosphere reflective of its Native American heritage. The college provides an array of academic programs, with an emphasis on Blackfeet language and culture preservation, natural resources, and workforce development. While Blackfeet Community College maintains an open-door admissions policy, its selective program entry for certain fields ensures a tailored approach to student success. The college does not offer on-campus housing but supports the educational endeavors of its predominantly commuter student population through various resources and services. BCC is not particularly noted for its athletic programs, placing a stronger emphasis on academic and cultural programming.

Blackfeet Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  195 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 151 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,880 plus fees of $730.
