Overview

Jefferson College, established in 1963, is a public community college located in Hillsboro, Missouri, approximately 30 miles south of St. Louis. Nestled in a suburban setting, the college occupies a campus known for its modern facilities amidst natural surroundings, offering students a blend of contemporary learning environments and outdoor aesthetic appeal. Jefferson College provides a wide range of associate degree programs, certificate courses, and technical education, with particular emphasis on health sciences, industrial technology, and performing arts. The institution is characterized by an open admissions policy, accommodating a diverse student body seeking both academic and vocational pathways. Jefferson College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,728 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,898 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,310 plus fees of $900.
