Culver Stockton College

Overview

Culver-Stockton College, founded in 1853 and affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), stands atop a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River in Canton, Missouri, approximately two hours drive north of St. Louis. This private, liberal arts college is characterized by its expansive vistas, historic buildings reflecting a blend of traditional architecture, and a commitment to innovative, experience-based learning within its academic programs. Notably, it offers a distinctive 12/3 semester plan, allowing for an intense three-week term devoted to a single class or experiential learning opportunity. The college features a moderately selective admissions process and provides a range of undergraduate programs, with Business, Nursing, and Education among the more popular majors. On-campus living is integral to student life at Culver-Stockton, with a variety of housing options available to students. While the college has a range of athletic teams known as the Wildcats, it is particularly recognized for the strength of its NAIA athletics program in certain sports such as baseball and softball.

In the most recent statistical year 1,246 prospective students applied, and 1,208 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 263 enrolled in the school.  934 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 65 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $28,700 plus fees of $495.
