The truth is, you will get what you put into this university. It is a wonderful community of empowering women. You will get to know the classmates you mesh well with best, and you will never just be a number in the classroom for your professor. The professors want nothing more than to see you succeed. They will help you network, build connections, and achieve your goals. There are sporting events and for an all women's college we have a lot of great teams and get a big student section, it can be a lot of fun! There are bars and parties around but since the campus is so closed off you do have to make a few connections to get where you want to go, thankfully, there are 5 other big colleges in the area! The twin cities can be a ton of fun. You will leave St. Kate's brighter and more well rounded than you came in. You will feel ready to head into the world and make a difference. That's not to say all colleges aren't able to improve. For a university that prides itself on its history of strong women who went against the grain to make a difference, they certainly do not like constructive criticism or are willing to make much of a change if students suggest it. There is definitely a need for turnover in admin roles across majority areas of campus. That is not to say, that I would not STRONGLY recommend St. Kate's to any woman looking to further her education or learn more about how to thrive and achieve their goals.

I loved my time at St. Kate's beautiful campus, engaging community, great professors. I didn't go here as a college freshman. It's located in one of the safer neighborhoods in St.Paul and Mpls. I'm not going to lie, I lived in downtown Mpls and I went out on the weekends there. There are some very nice and very bright students here. There are every kind of women farm girls, nursing students, hipsters, goths, art girls, and every other category. Returning women students in the College for Adults. There isn't much parking on campus so skip trying and park a couple blocks away.

This is the worst school ever! They only care about money and that is it! The food is overpriced and very bad(they only have 4 choices?burgers, sandwiches, a hot dish and an international bar). And there is no social life here at all.
