North Central University

Overview

North Central University, established in 1930, is a private Christian university located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. The campus is characterized by urban architecture with modern and historical buildings, providing a contemporary learning environment within a vibrant city atmosphere. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on pastoral studies, business administration, and communication arts. North Central University features on-campus housing options, which include residence halls and apartment-style living. Although globally inclusive, the application process is moderately selective. The university does not have a substantial emphasis on intercollegiate athletics; instead, it focuses on academic and spiritual development in the Christian tradition.

In the most recent statistical year 544 prospective students applied, and 494 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 172 enrolled in the school.  851 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 141 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $27,140 plus fees of $860.
