Overview

Lake Superior College (LSC) is a public community college located in Duluth, Minnesota, known for its comprehensive range of associate degree programs, certificates, and diplomas. The college, established in 1995 through the consolidation of the Duluth Technical College and the Duluth Community College Center, occupies a scenic campus on the western side of Duluth, providing a picturesque learning environment with views of Lake Superior and the surrounding regional landscape. LSC's academic offerings include popular programs in nursing, business, and the career-driven fields of aviation, fire technology, and allied health. While the college maintains an open admissions policy, suggesting broad accessibility for applicants, it also upholds academic rigor tailored to workforce development. Lake Superior College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,402 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,447 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,615 plus fees of $789.
