Overview

Andrews University, located in Berrien Springs, Michigan, is a private institution established in 1874 as Battle Creek College before relocating and assuming its current name in 1960. Known for its affiliation with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the university provides a faith-based educational environment integrated with a diverse academic curriculum. Its campus spans approximately 1,600 acres in a rural setting, roughly two hours from Chicago, offering students a serene landscape with numerous facilities, including a notable School of Architecture & Interior Design. Committed to research and global education, Andrews has a varied academic profile with particularly strong programs in health professions, education, and biology. The university is moderately selective, with a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. On-campus housing is available with a range of living options catering to the student body. While Andrews University is not primarily recognized for athletics, it does offer a variety of sports for student participation under the team name the Cardinals.

In the most recent statistical year 1,226 prospective students applied, and 1,119 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 232 enrolled in the school.  1,663 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,195 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $31,464 plus fees of $1,270.
