Marian Court College

Overview

Marian Court College in Swampscott, Massachusetts, was a private two-year college that focused on offering associate degrees and certificate programs until its closure in 2015. Located on a picturesque seaside estate, the campus featured a historic building known as the Marian Court manor, exhibiting early 20th-century architecture. Less than 15 miles northeast of Boston, the college was situated in a suburban setting that provided students with both a tranquil learning environment and proximity to urban amenities. Established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1964, Marian Court College emphasized business and legal studies, with its academic profile reflecting a moderate level of application selectivity. While the college did not offer on-campus housing, it aimed to serve a diverse student body, including traditional and non-traditional students. As of its closing, Marian Court did not have an emphasis on intercollegiate athletics.

Marian Court College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  177 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 16 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $16,200 plus fees of $0.
