I am a freshman at Dean and I am transferring. I've had a bad experience with Dean since my student orientation. I was placed with a temporary roommate that made really uncomfortable sexual comments to me and also blasted heavy metal music throughout the night. Regardless i tried to remain hopeful, however I quickly learned Dean wasn't for me. I am a psychology major and all of other psych majors were in psychology for the wrong reasons and used class time to make tasteless mental health jokes and to vent. I do have to say I do like the professors there and the campus is pretty but residents halls are gross, in the summer my room hit 92 degrees and the school did nothing about it, the food is awful, there was a grill fire causing the grill to need to be replaced, however it took the school weeks to actually do it. Also there are no activities for students, no parties at all, and basically really clicky social groups. I am very glad I am transferring please make sure to really look into this school before you go.
