Overview

Kennebec Valley Community College (KVCC), located in Fairfield, Maine, offers a comprehensive educational experience in a rural setting, situated approximately 18 miles north of the state capital, Augusta. Established in 1970, the college has developed into a two-year public institution, providing a range of associate degree and certificate programs, notably in the fields of health sciences, business, culinary arts, and trade technologies. Kennebec Valley Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  510 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,609 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,880 plus fees of $807.
