Overview

Delgado Community College, established in 1921 and located in New Orleans, Louisiana, provides a diverse educational environment with its main campus situated in the urban setting of City Park and multiple satellite locations throughout the metropolitan area. As a two-year institution, Delgado offers a wide range of associate degrees, certificate programs, and transferable credits, with particular emphasis on fields such as nursing, culinary arts, and business studies. Delgado Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  3,934 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 8,443 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,335 plus fees of $1,344.

Delgado Community College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
