Overview

Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), founded in 1967, is a public two-year institution located in Bossier City, Louisiana, in the northwest region of the state, near the larger urban center of Shreveport. The college provides a variety of associate degree programs, certificates, and workforce development opportunities, catering to a diverse student population. Known for its academic programs in nursing, business, and applied sciences, BPCC stands out for its career-oriented approach to higher education. Bossier Parish Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  2,816 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,496 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,435 plus fees of $848.

Bossier Parish Community College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
