Overview

Kentucky Christian University (KCU), located in Grayson, Kentucky, is a private, non-profit Christian university that was established in 1919. Set in a rural environment, the campus presents a quiet, intimate setting, fostering a close-knit academic community. KCU is known for its focus on ministry and Christian education, offering a variety of undergraduate degree programs in areas such as Biblical Studies, Business Administration, Teacher Education, and Nursing, which is one of its more prominent programs. The institution maintains a less competitive application selectivity. Students have the opportunity to live on campus in residence halls, which contributes to the cohesive student life experience. Kentucky Christian University does not have a significant emphasis on intercollegiate athletics and is not widely recognized for athletic programs, thereby keeping the focus of campus life on academic and spiritual growth.

In the most recent statistical year 606 prospective students applied, and 269 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 114 enrolled in the school.  468 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 161 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $23,100 plus fees of $600.
