MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) is a private liberal arts college rooted in the Christian tradition and located in Olathe, Kansas. Established in 1966, the university is a short distance from the metropolitan area of Kansas City, providing a suburban environment for its academic community. The campus architecture is characterized by contemporary styling with facilities designed to support its educational programs, and MNU offers on-campus living options to its students. Academically, the university is known for its strong programs in Nursing, Education, and Business, attracting students who seek careers in these fields. While MNU maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it remains committed to a holistic evaluation of applicants. The university competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as the Pioneers but is not predominantly known for its athletic programs.
