Hesston College

Overview

Hesston College, a private two-year Mennonite liberal arts college located in Hesston, Kansas, offers an intimate campus experience in a small town setting, approximately 30 miles north of Wichita. Established in 1909, the institution has developed a reputation for its strong nursing and aviation programs, among other fields of study. With its emphasis on personal attention, Hesston maintains an open admissions policy, inviting a diverse range of students to explore its academic offerings. The college's residential program supports on-campus living, providing housing options that contribute to the close-knit community environment. Although not widely known for athletics, Hesston College participates in a variety of sports at the NJCAA level as the Larks.

Hesston College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  302 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 23 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $29,472 plus fees of $480.
