Barclay College

Overview

Barclay College, located in Haviland, Kansas, is a private, Christian institution established in 1917. The college is situated on a rural campus in the heart of the Great Plains, approximately 70 miles east of Dodge City. Barclay College provides students with a spiritually focused education, offering undergraduate degrees in areas such as Pastoral Ministry, Youth Ministry, Psychology and Family Studies, and Elementary Education, among others. The small, intimate campus environment is characterized by its red-brick buildings and modern facilities, including residential housing for all full-time students. While widely recognized for its academic programs centered on Christian values and ministry preparation, Barclay College maintains a holistic admissions process that takes into account an applicant's overall potential and fit with the institution's mission rather than relying solely on numerical criteria.

In the most recent statistical year 205 prospective students applied, and 108 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 22 enrolled in the school.  127 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 42 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $19,000 plus fees of $5,990.
