Hawkeye Community College, established in 1966, is a public, two-year institution situated in Waterloo, Iowa, approximately 55 miles from Cedar Rapids. The college occupies a suburban campus with a modern architectural design that integrates both traditional and contemporary elements conducive to learning and innovation. Hawkeye Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,834 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,953 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,916 plus fees of $174.
