Taylor's "Living Together Covenant? (LTC) is a foundational document for the school. In it students, faculty, and staff promise to abstain from alcohol. Yet, it is known to (nearly) all that this restriction is violated by students, staff, and faculty regularly. Religious hypocrisy was condemned by Jesus. Yet, religious hypocrisy is taught at Taylor by frequent examples of repeated violations of the LTC by Taylor?s faculty and administration. Further, Taylor?s business model depends on student debt. Many students are enrolled in remedial (high-school level) courses that do not count towards graduation. These students are often paying with student debt.

I loved it here. It's great for students who want a close knit community and one on one time with professors. There isn't a ton to do off campus, unless you are willing to drive to towns like Muncie, 20-30 minutes away. This encourages the students to be creative and make their own amusement on campus together. The school is very Christ centered and is a wonderful place for young Christians to pursue God. The sciences and business and education majors are their strongest programs. They are particularly strong in Computer science. When I was there (which was quite a while ago) their art and writing programs weren't the greatest. However, this site has incorrect information about the acceptance rate, They couldn't have admitted over 1000 Freshman, because the total student body is only 1892 (from their own website). I highly doubt they had 1700 applicants either. Collegesimply should get their facts straight.

A great school for students seeking an actual education, without all the distractions a state school can have. Small class size and personal attention from Professors, is a huge benefit. There is a great sense of community, and a wide range of sports available.
