Student and Parent Reviews

If you are a student, former student, faculty member or parent, please help guide other prospective students by sharing your personal experiences at this college. What is it really like to go to Ball State University?

Mar 25, 2019
Rating 5 out of 5

Ball Sate offers a unique experience relative to larger schools and institutions, and is perhaps the most effective school for its price in the state. Out of State students should consider programs and degrees before deciding on attendance, as BSU degrees such as Education, Business, and Political Science tend to be much better known and appreciated throughout the world. While students majoring in other fields should still strongly consider the school for its personal academic atmosphere and inclusive campus, but should remain weary in that smaller programs may not be as readily accepted as others, making it more efficient to stay in state to save costs. Professors are highly qualified and very personable, an experience which was lacking in my prior year at IU-Bloomington. Professors at BSU seem genuinely concerned with students educational process, and are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure academic success and understanding.

Ball State is an extremely underrated university. The campus is beautiful, the ambiance is great, and the faculty and academics are excellent. You will receive an excellent education at an even better price if you attend Ball State.
