Point University, located in East Point, Georgia, operates from a suburban campus approximately 10 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta. Originally established in 1937 as Atlanta Christian College, the institution relocated to its current location in 2012 and adopted its present name to reflect its broadened academic focus. The private, Christian liberal arts university maintains its religious affiliation while offering both traditional undergraduate programs and adult degree completion options, with notable programs in business, ministry, and education. Point University's main campus features modern classroom facilities and residence halls that accommodate traditional undergraduate students, while also operating additional satellite locations throughout Georgia for its adult learning programs. The university competes in the NAIA Division I as the Point Skyhawks, primarily participating in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
