Overview

Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) is a public institution situated in Statesboro, Georgia, just an hour's drive from the historic city of Savannah. Established in 1986, OTC serves the Southeast Georgia region, providing technical and vocational education with an emphasis on real-world skills and workforce development. The campus setting combines rural tranquility with modern facilities, reflecting its mission to offer accessible education in a student-centered environment. OTC does not provide on-campus housing, emphasizing commuter and local students. This college operates with an open admissions policy, welcoming a diverse range of applicants interested in pursuing career-focused programs. OTC is particularly noted for its specialized programs in Health Sciences, Business and Public Services, and Industrial Technology. While athletics are not a central highlight, Ogeechee Technical College is focused on its educational mission, providing hands-on technical programs designed to meet the evolving needs of the regional economy.

Ogeechee Technical College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  764 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,281 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,400 plus fees of $740.

Ogeechee Technical College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
