Overview

LaGrange College, located in LaGrange, Georgia, is a private liberal arts and sciences college with a storied history dating back to its founding in 1831, making it the oldest private college in the state. The campus is situated an hour southwest of Atlanta and offers a suburban setting that integrates the historic antebellum architecture with modern facilities. Academically, LaGrange is organized into several schools, including the Lewis School of Nursing and Health Sciences which is prominently known for its robust nursing program. The institution upholds a moderately selective admission process. The college provides on-campus living opportunities across multiple residence halls and apartment complexes. In the most recent statistical year 1,414 prospective students applied, and 836 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 222 enrolled in the school.  653 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 26 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $32,800 plus fees of $900.
