Overview

Augusta Technical College is a public, two-year institution located in Augusta, Georgia, offering a variety of certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs across four campuses in the region. Established in 1961, the college primarily serves the needs of students in Richmond, Columbia, Burke, McDuffie, and Lincoln counties. Augusta Technical College is recognized for its emphasis on career-oriented programs, with particular strengths in areas such as allied health sciences, business and information technology, and industrial technology. Augusta Technical College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,364 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,606 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,400 plus fees of $862.

Augusta Technical College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
