This place did not help my kid one bit- its all a big scam because if whom is running it.

I do not have any other way to let prospective future students know about how things are done at this college. This is my second college experience. I went to Lanier Tech for 2 years with no issues, but at Athens Tech I have had nothing but problems with these instructors. I tried reporting one of my concerns, but that did nothing. College is supposed to be stepping into adulthood, but not at Athens Tech, here you are still treated like and elementary student. I used to love psychology, but the instructor I have caused me to hate even seeing her class on my blackboard. It is sad that the school allows the instructors to be vindictive. If at all possible, DO NOT attend Athens Tech. I am worried that this review will cause me more problems, but I have to let people know that is paying their hard-earned money to be treated as if you don't matter. I honestly hate even seeing this school now. Just so people know that is reading this I have completed 3 semesters here with the 1st having 5 classes and 4 classes the rest; enough experience that I'm not jumping to conclusions, I have had time to see how it is here. Thank you

My recommendation for Athens Technical College, do not attend. My first semester here, my instructors were great. After that, it has been down hill with these instructors. They're allowed to treat their students, however they like. My previous experience with instructors was concern, care, and understanding. Here I assume it depends on who you are. Certain students don't have to attend any classes all semester, not even the first day, but you are allowed to show up on the last day of class for the final and pass. I cannot even get my instructors to allow me to work an assignment ahead. With having four classes, if you run into a problem, you quickly get behind. If at all possible, DO NOT attend Athens Technical College. If you don't have an option, then good luck.
