San Diego Christian College is situated in El Cajon, California, approximately 17 miles east of downtown San Diego in a suburban setting. Originally founded in 1970 as Christian Heritage College by Drs. Tim LaHaye and Art Peters, the private evangelical institution maintains its commitment to Christian higher education while operating from a modern campus that relocated from Santee to El Cajon in 2014. The college offers undergraduate programs with particular focus on aviation, business, psychology, and biblical studies, along with adult and professional degree completion programs. Students are required to live on campus during their first two years, with housing provided in apartment-style residence halls.
