Overview

Mount St. Mary's University, Los Angeles, established in 1925 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, is a private, Catholic university primarily for women, with a heritage rooted in fostering the service to the community and a commitment to the education of women. In the most recent statistical year 2,405 prospective students applied, and 1,822 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 380 enrolled in the school.  2,057 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 383 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $45,388 plus fees of $1,352.
